Absence of need

The non-dual exposes our absence of need.

It’s been said that all desire is for the desire for peace and happiness….

The trick of it, is to ask what do you want?

If you got what you want, with the guarantee that you would be miserable with it, would you still want it ?

This exposes that all we really desire is peace and happiness….

We agree to this line of reasoning …but it gets lost in the detail of common (deep) needs…

Inquiry then, becomes the erosion the needs…. by asking Awareness if we really need some of the following:

Do I really need:

Love

Companionship

To get the Non-Dual completely 

To share Reality with others

Comfort 

To help others be free from suffering 

To represent myself accurately through words.

To save a burning chaotic world

To consistently abide in a certain non-dual effortlessness of connectness with everything 

Etc..

The answer to all these needs, (or whatever ones feel especially weighty to us) is —

No.

Awareness is simply not in need of that.

To experience this answer…in a moment of inquiry and stillness…..

This is a track, or way, or path….
